Carriage House Antiques (Kutschenhaus in German) is located in Oldenburg, Indiana. Oldenburg is a historic German Town You will notice the many spires coming into Oldenburg. About 80 of the 115 homes in this historic district were built prior to 1900. The store is located in an 1850's building that was a tavern/inn and later a Bank.
We carry a variety of antiques to please everyon's taste, displayed creatively in 1600 sq. ft of space.
Our antiques consist of furniture and accessories ranging from the 1700's to 1960 collectibles. Our accessories include glassware, pottery, clocks, and toys. Period furniture, country accessories, Americana, and primitive furniture are a few other ways to describe our antiques.
Our emphasis is on German smalls including Smokers and novelty clocks. We also have a large collection of Bristol vases. New this year is homemade ice cream - vanilla, chocolate, salted caramel, mint chocolate chip, strawberry,and a flavor of the month. Indulge in a scoop or two in the courtyard or as you walk around the Village. We are, "Old N Cold N Oldenburg."
