Co n tinuing The Creché Tradition
E d Kirschner’s (Pork’s) love for Oldenburg and for all things related to the Nativity was important not only to him but to his family and to many others in town. It is in this spirit that his family hopes in some small way, to keep his tradition of The Creché Shop, alive in Oldenburg. Following in Ed’s footsteps, his daughter Karen is learning her father’s craft. Later this winter and continuing throughout the year, she will have a limited number of crechés available at Carriage House Antiques. Whether you’re shopping for a crèche
or not, we hope you’ll find your way to the Carriage House to spend a few moments remembering Ed and reflecting on the Nativity he so loved.
